What’s always true
- • You own your manuscript, your covers, and your published books. Full stop.
- • Laurel stores your work so the studio functions: drafts, chapters, and exports live in your account and nowhere else.
- • AI features send the relevant text to our model provider to generate a response; providers are contractually barred from training on it.
- • Nothing you write is ever used to train models unless you switch the toggle above on. No rows in the consent ledger means no.
- • Opting out later stops new collection immediately, and you can ask us to delete previously collected training copies at any time.
